This week we have been taking away using objects, our fingers or our heads. We have used the words subtract, take away, how many are left? We have used the light box to practise adding and subtracting.
We have also been taking away on the computer. We have to work out which order the numbers go in so that the number sentence makers sense.
We have written our own Supertato stories and other different styles of writing. Some children have been writing letters to Mrs Dance.
Since the weather has improved we are enjoying using the outside apparatus. If it is a bit wobbly we like to help each other!
We have enjoyed making things using different materials and showing our work to the class.
Super Science week!
We have had a super science week with lots of different investigations. We had to free a little plastic person trapped in ice and watched what happened when we held a chocolate button in our hands.
This week EYFS children have been learning all about Diwali. We have had a fantastic time making Rangoli rice patterns and clay diva lamps.
Fun Exploring Outside
We have had lots of fun exploring outside and have worked really hard to share with our friends and take turns. We are so pleased the weather is still lovely!
EYFS children had a great time exploring the outdoors on Forest Friday! The scavenger hunt was a great success and we found lots of interesting things to bring back to our classrooms!
